AS/NZS 4671:2019
Steel reinforcing materials – standard for deformed and plain bars. Defines grade (500E, 500N, etc.), mechanical properties, and chemical composition. 澳紐鋼筋規格標準
AS/NZS 3679.1:2016
Hot-rolled bars and sections. Structural steel standard. 熱軋棒材與型鋼標準
ACRS
Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels. Third-party product certification scheme. 澳洲結構鋼認證機構
ISO 9001
International standard for Quality Management Systems. Required as part of ACRS scheme rules. 品質管理系統國際標準

📅 ACRS Assessment Agenda (Typical 2-Day Structure)

Day 1 – 09:30
Opening Meeting: Introductions, confidentiality, scope confirmation, agenda review, evaluation plan, review of previous assessment.
Day 1 – 10:30
Site Tour: Scrap receival → steelmaking → casting → rolling → testing → packing → despatch.
Day 1 – 13:30
QC Management System Review: ISO 9001, quality policy, management review, NCR system, training & skills matrix, document control.
Day 1 – 14:30
Product Evaluation: LTQ records review, customer complaints.
Day 2 – 09:00
Factory Production Control: Incoming feed control, traceability, non-conforming product, despatch control & tagging.
Day 2 – 11:00
Testing Review: Lab certification, process control records, batch acceptance, test certificates.
Day 2 – 14:00
Witness Testing: Mechanical testing performed live for the assessor.
Day 2 – 15:30
Exit Meeting: Assessor presents findings, NCRs issued if any.

Describe the nonconformity

🔬 Grade Comparison – AS/NZS 4671

500E (Class E)
Yield strength ≥500 MPa, high ductility (seismic grade). Hot-rolled. Tung Ho's main export grade. 高延性鋼筋，東和主要出口規格
500N (Class N)
Yield strength ≥500 MPa, normal ductility. Often quenched/tempered. 普通延性，常用淬火製程
600N / 750N
Higher strength grades under Class N. Currently no 600E grade defined in standard. 高強度等級，目前標準無600E規格
Hot-rolled vs QST
Hot-rolled = consistent properties through cross-section. QST (Quenched & Self-Tempered) = harder outer layer. Tung Ho uses hot-rolled only. 熱軋vs淬火：東和僅生產熱軋產品
